About Me

My photo
Tara Van Ho
I teach, research, and write on business and human rights. Recently, an established colleague asked "what don't you work on in this field?" I couldn't think of anything, but later realized the question was the wrong one to ask me. I am willing to work on almost anything in this area, but what I'm *passionate* about is ensuring accessible, adequate, and effective remedies for victims, particular for those in conflict-affected and post-conflict states. That takes me to the fields of international investment law, comparative tort law and civil procedure, IHL and transitional justice. I am based at Aarhus University in Denmark, but am American. I hate being in an office, so unless I'm teaching or in scheduled office hours, you can usually find me at a coffee shop or wine bar, sitting with my laptop and a pile of papers and books.
